Arrival & orientation

When you land, you will go through immigration and customs, then travel to your accommodation. Universities usually run welcome and orientation programmes—attend them to learn about campus, rules, and support.

1

Immigration & customs

Have your passport, visa, and offer documents ready. Answer questions clearly and keep supporting documents in hand luggage.

2

Transport to accommodation

Arrange airport pickup or know your transport options. Many universities offer pickup or shuttle—confirm before you fly.

3

Check-in & orientation

Complete university check-in and attend orientation. Welcome sessions cover campus resources, rules, and how to get help.

4

Settle in

Open a bank account if needed, get a local SIM, and connect with your course and support staff. We can point you to useful resources.
